CLEANING CHARGE: A €350 cleaning/laundry/rubbish removal charge will be added to each booking due to rising running costs with labour/maintenance.
The changeover day is ideally Saturday in Peak season but we aim to be flexible at other times if there is no other booking following.
The booking terms of Monastero di Favari require that 50% of the full rental fee is payable by bank transfer to secure the booking. The remainder of the rental fee is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the booking together with a refundable Security Deposit of Euro 800. This may be paid by bank transfer or by cheque (Sterling or Euro) and will be held by the owner and then destroyed post-stay. The deposit will be fully refunded within one week after departure provided there is no damage to the property, its contents or its garden/pool. There is a cancellation fee of 50% of the full rental fee if the booking is cancelled 3 weeks or more before the commencement date. We hope you understand that this is to give us a fair amount of time to try to rebook the house. A cancellation 3 weeks or less before the date of the visit will result in the full fee being retained.
Weddings/Events Fee: Hire of the chapel for a ceremony is €500. Furthermore, guests wishing to hold events such as weddings/blessings in the grounds or to host parties at the villa for numbers > 15 will be required to pay a fee of €500. This is to cover extra cleaning and wear and tear on this old house and its grounds.
Monastero di Favari has an Italian lady, Vittoria Maran, as our caretaker living nearby who speak perfect English and is a yoga teacher (available for group and private classes). Pina and Luana are our cleaners. James is our gardener and pool cleaner. All can be contacted at any time for help during your stay from a personal pick-up at the airport (for an extra charge), taxis, babysitting to restaurant bookings, winery tours, catering in the villa, extra cleaning, hiking/excursion information or simply road directions!
Enquire Here Additional services to enhance your holiday can be arranged for a supplementary charge, such as the provision of a private cook specialising in local Marchigiani cuisine, or the delivery of a meal from a local trattoria. Furthermore, daily or mid-week cleaning and off-site laundry can be organized at an additional cost. Please contact us for further details.
Guests staying during low season periods when the underfloor heating is required will be required to pay a gas supplement of Euro 800. In the winter season, wood for use on the open fires can be provided at no additional cost.
