Monastero di Favari is a fantastic place! Can't recommend it highly enough. We were a group of girls celebrating a 40th birthday and it was the perfect place to chill out by the pool during the day, and then saunter into Jesi (20mins away) for some nightlife. We also went on a wine tasting tour of local vineyards, which was very well organised by the owner's contact. All the rooms are really light and spacious, the beds are very comfy, and everything is well kitted out. We're already talking about a return visit next year!Rebecca - Bristol
Villa Monastero di Favari is a truly special place. It has been renovated with a designer's eye, but yet the owner has kept the "bones" of the old Italian Monastery at the forefront of the rehab. And the LeMarche backdrop is something to behold. Off the beaten path, but yet easily accessible to some of Italy's best kept secret towns and villages. Your vacation at Villa Monastero Di Favari will be something you, your family and friends will never forget. On our first morning I opened up the shutters to discover the most stunning view of the Le Marche hills with a herd of long-haired sheep being herded down the white country road! It was a lovely way to start the day which consisted of sitting by the pool soaking up the Le Marche sun, going into Apiro for market day, and wine tasting some of the Lacrima red wine at a local vineyard (kindly arranged by the villa's caretaker!) The Villa has every high quality amenity you can ever hope to have in a vacation rental and is so beautifully appointed. The kitchen is gorgeous and the living room so cozy. There are six bedrooms (really seven if you count the little bedroom off of the master bedroom) that all have amazing views! The linens and towels are first class. The views around the pool are amazing. It was just so very relaxing and we felt totally disconnected and relaxed. It was a wonderful way to be away and connect with girlfriends who had all gathered at The Villa for the week for my 40th birthday celebration. I highly recommend this special Italian getaway if you are seeking a vacation where you can unwind, relax, eat amazing Italian food and soak up the Italian culture that is still authentic and not contrived by masses of tourists! I'm an American with 3 girls, living in Moscow, Russia. I stayed in this beautiful house recently and adored it! The landscape view is like a postcard out of every window and the house is beautifully renovated and designed. It's definitely a luxurious setting. We also took a tour of a few vineyards in the area (the owner provided info on how to do this!) and it was fabulous. This region of Italy doesn't have the crazy tourist factor, so it's really a perfect place to go for a quiet, relaxed holiday. We only have sunshine one day, so sadly, I only got to sit by the beautiful pool for a few hours. Next time I will figure out who I have to pay to guarantee sunshine! :) Ann-Tyler, Moscow
Arriving back into the cool and damp Irish climate my thoughts of my time in le Marche are flooding back. As soon as I stepped off the plane in Rome, the sights, sounds and smells of Italy hit me. With a very easy transfer from the airport to the main train station (Rome Termini), and then the direct Intercity train to Jesi and the short ride to your villa, my effortless journey to the villa ended and my great adventure in la Marche began. The villa is truly an incredible place. Entering the main door and into the magnificent hall, one is immediately greeted with the old stone floors, wooden beams, and the clean, white washed walls that are restored with such care that only openings to the other rooms, a wooden plinth or wild flowers interrupts the clean lines. Exploring the 3 floors, and finding the 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, with fantastic antiques throughout, every bedroom so different and each bathroom in the living areas having baths that are the size of small pools with views as the perfect backdrop. I felt at home and relaxed immediately. The kitchen is so well stocked and the appliances top of the range! It is an easy room to try to create a taste of Italy in! But the place that captivated me was the outside area. Sitting in the shade of the large trees eating lunch, and having your grape vines as company to the right, the beautiful pool, the rolling hills and far off Church in front of me, and the town of Apiro incredibly framed on the other side was for me... magical! The thought you put in to every aspect of your home is evident. For instance, I loved having a formal toilet by the living area and another shower and toilet for you as come into the house from the pool. We enjoyed the whole house! Reading in the comfy sitting area, and drinking Prosseco while sitting by the open fire in the main living room. The Chapel is such a wonderful, peaceful addition to your villa, and I can only imagine the Weddings, Christenings, renewed vows and many other lovely family occasions that the Chapel will see in the coming years. To have that special place attached to a villa with incredible large dining areas (formal and informal), sitting areas and breathe taking gardens is such a find! I would recommend your amazing villa to all my friends in Ireland, USA and from the Bahamas as it is a "get away" for everyone, romantics, adventurers, wine lovers, foodies, walkers, children, those planning a family gathering....and those that like to soak up the La Marche sun. My family and I hope to come back to your villa in the near future. Until then, many thanks for making our first trip to this part of Italy so incredible.Julia Culleton, Dublin Ireland
Arriving back in Amsterdam after a wonderful break in this charming villa all I have been able to talk about is how beautiful it was to everyone! How it is the ideal place for a two family vacation. This special place has been lovingly restored and retains a calm monastic atmosphere while radiating a warmth and charm which made me feel relaxed and shed my stress within the first few hours of entering. The journey was an easy hop to Rome and connection to Ancona where the beautiful countryside route to the villa started the serious unwinding and to be greeted with such a clean and comfortable home was just the icing on the cake! We have been to Italy many many times over the years and rented houses & villas as we usually go with extended family. Rest assured it really does look like the photos! It has to be the best equipped and cleanest villa visited to date. There's nothing I hate more than to have to clean on arrival when it's late and the children need to go to bed! The feeling of 'home from home ' transported to an exquisite holiday location, means drop the suitcases, walk into the kitchen, pop the kettle on for opi' and take out the wine glasses for us! Heavenly Bliss! Clean sheets & towels, reeeallly comfortable beds and an adequately stocked kitchen. I almost don't want to give this testimonial and keep this place a secret because I'd like to book it next year! Thank you Milly for putting so much thought to detail & love into this property in order to make this break really feel like a holiday.Brenda, Amsterdam

Just wanted to let you know that Simon and I returned from Italy last night (the rest of the party return today) - We have had the most wonderful time in your very beautiful house - we couldn't have wanted for anything, it really was a truly inspirational week. The sun shone all week - it was stunning and we were all very reluctant to leave! Eugene was totally brilliant and helpful and fantastic to have his local knowledge. Thank you so much - we shall have very happy memories.Camilla Burridge
