Things To Do

From wine tasting, a beach day out, sightseeing in historic towns and villages, hiking and sporting activities, Monastero di Favari's surrounding area has much to offer for a relaxing and interesting holiday.

Local Beaches

The house is situated only 45 minutes drive away from the best coastal area along the long flat stretch of the Adriatic coastline, the Conero Peninsula. With its rocky beaches, turquoise clear waters and hidden bays backed by steep white limestone cliffs, this coastline makes for a great family beach day out, diving and sailing destination as well as a spot for some high quality dining.

The sandy beaches of Senigallia, Gabbice Mare and San Benedetto del Tronto host a lively beach scene with clubs and bars humming in the evenings and lie within 50/65 minutes drive.

Caves

The world-renowned Frasassi Caves are a fantastic destination for a rainy day (or a cool-down trip after a hot one!)  and are an easy 20 minute drive away. This is one of Europe’s most famous cave systems and is equipped with a 1.5 km walkway through this theatrically lit crystalline wonderland. Tours run in English at peak seasons, Visit www.frasassi.com.

Local Towns

The historic picturesque towns of Jesi, Cingoli (‘The Balcony of the Marches’), Treja, Fabriano, San Severino Marche, Macerata, Osimo and the Catholic pilgrimage site of Loreto with its stunning cathedral are all within easy reach.
