The 17th century villa with its attached chapel makes a perfect location for an intimate wedding service. Perhaps you might choose the beautiful Monte Conero peninsula nearby with its beachfront restaurants for a reception or photographs; or think of wineries which are plentiful in this area of the Castelli di Jesi appellation or you can find elegant city trattorias in Jesi and Ancona. Or have your wedding service in one of the picturesque local town halls in lovely piazzas (Apiro/Cingoli/Cupramontana are all within under half an hour) and then return to Monastero di Favari and use the villa and its stunning grounds for a lovely reception party. Host a Wedding Breakfast in the garden under the trees, overlooking the pool, vineyard and foothills of Monte San Vicino: there are so many options to make the day special and unique for you.
We recommend enlisting the help of our preferred local wedding planner, who also caretakes Monastero di Favari so knows it intimately, Jorina Karsten (click here to contact Jorina) who will tailor-make the wedding day of your dreams. You can choose to get married in the still-consecrated chapel, (seating c.60) for a small additional fee, or indeed take the registry office route by holding the official ceremony in one of the local handsome Comune buildings (town halls). Whichever you choose Jorina will guide you through the process and navigate the ‘red tape’ and be on hand during your special day to ensure all runs smoothly.
We have access to recommended local caterers, musicians, florists and vehicles such as a vintage Vespa motorcycle or classically Italian Fiat Cinquecento to furnish the perfect details for your beautiful Italian country wedding.
We held our wedding here. A paradise on earth, beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. Jorina took very good care of us and the
old monastery of the chapel is a wonderful space to use. The garden is large with a lovely pool and panoramic views, it’s all like a fairytale. An experience that will stay with us long.
