The Vineyard

The one hectare vineyard at Monastero di Favari is still in its infancy having been planted in 2008 and then parcels replanted in 2012. Unusually for the area, the vineyard is planted to red grape varieties: Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Merlot with a view to creating a Super-Tuscan style (Super-Marche!) blend in the future.
